A group of young people singing on stage.

Our poetry slam stands out for its inclusivity, providing a platform for students ranging from third to twelfth grade to showcase their talents. It’s a competitive yet supportive event where participants are evaluated on both their writing and performance skills, presenting their own original poetry. Divided into three distinct categories – elementary (3rd-5th), middle school (6th-8th), and high school (9th-12th) – participants have the opportunity to compete individually and as part of a team, doubling their chances of success. Every participant receives acknowledgment, and top performers in each category are awarded a cash prize for their outstanding achievements.
