Anthology Publication

All 3rd – 12th grade students are welcome to submit two original poems which will be considered for publication in our annual Voice2Youth poetry compilation.

There is no charge for submission.   Submission deadline:  February 20th

Note: There is no charge to submit an entry.

  1. Entries must be received by February 20th.
  2. A parent or guardian must complete and sign the consent & release form.
  3. A poem must be the entrant’s original work.
  4. The poem must be titled.
  5. Optional: Include a short bio of approximately 50 words that describes the entrant’s interests, hobbies and ways they think studying poetry has helped them become a better person and student.
  6. Submit the poem typed in English using 12pt font on white paper
    •   In the upper right corner include the name, age & grade of student.

Students whose poetry is selected for publishing will be recognized during National Poetry Month in April.  They’ll also get a chance to perform their poem at our region-wide Voice2Youth Poetry Slam.   In addition, recognition will be given to all participating schools, teachers and coaches.

Copies of the anthology will be made available for sale.  All proceeds will be used to further our enrichment programs and our vision of a world where all children have access to artistic expression and nurturing for academic success.
